Haridra Ganapathi - A small anushtana to destroy obstacles and gain material benefits
I hereby would like to write on a small yet powerful anushtana of Haridra Ganapathi which is the destroyer of all obstacles and giver of instant material benefits. Teh vidhi or procedure for the anushtana is as follows:
Anushtana Vidhi: Two tablespoon full Turmeric is mixed with water and a small moorthi of Ganapthi is made out of the mixture. The moorthi needn't be perfect though. A gross shape is enough. The moorthi is placed in the pooja alter facing East. Two lamps are lit and PraNa Pratishta is done on the moorthi.
A small pooja is done after Pratishta by offering yellow flowers, Incense and sandalwood paste. Vinayaka ashtottara can be performed on the moorthi with yellow Akshata or flowers.
Durva grass of count 21 is to be offered to the Lord with the Moola mantra "Om Gam Ganapataye Namah"
A naivedyam of soaked channa is offered to the Lord followed by Arathi.
Lord is then worshipped with the following shloka:
HAridraabham Chaturbaahum haridraavadanam prabhum
Paashaankushadharam Devam Modakam Dantameva cha
Bhaktaabhayapradaataaram vande vighna vinaashanam
Your wish is to be told in front of the Lord. Then chant one mala moola mantra(108) "Om Gam Ganapataye Namah".
This anushtana should be practiced with faith for 41 days and on 42nd day, the Ganapathi moorthi is to be immersed in the water and the water is then poured on ones own body during bath.
Benefits: All the obstacles of the devotee will be washed away by the grace of the Lord and instant material benefits are seen within the Anushtana period
Om Swasthi!!!
